Facts from the swim

Lisa Ferguson of the kingston waves team - staff member of waves - swam 17.7km total in about 3 shifts

Robyn - kingston waves team organiser -staff member of waves - swam over 3km - she hasn't swum for over 12months due to allergies to chlorine

Sharon - kingston waves team - staff member of waves - swam 8km total in 2 shifts.

The cheltenham swim club team was aged 12 to 17 plus 4 coaches (ages 20 x3 and 47) swam 2 shifts each hitting 3.6km - 4.0km per swimmer per shift. Thats 7.2 - 8.0km each member. Plus many parents gave their time to lap count these kids.

Special thanks to the many Kingston Waves team members who swum before and/or after lifeguarding shifts and staff from reception who showed their support by participating in the swim.
